Joe McDade
Chairman of the Board

Joe McDade joined ETA on August 17, 1999 as Chairman of the Board. When Joe joined ETA he was the Dean of Republicans in the House of Representatives from the Pennsylvania Delegation. During his 36 years of public life he managed many key decision making committees. He served 34 of his 36 years on the Appropriations Committee, and as Chairman of the Energy and Water Subcommittee. Joe was also Ranking Member on the Small Business Committee, Ranking Member on the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense, Ranking member on the Full Committee and a Manager of the Equal Access to Justice Law. For his achievements Joe has been cited with numerous awards to include the Secretary of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service, the highest civilian medal awarded by the Secretary of Defense. Joe also served for varying lengths of time on all 10 of the committees funding appropriations matters.
